How to use it
- Pick the image quality: Normal for sharing, High or Very high for printing.
- Choose or drop your PDF file.
- Wait a moment while each page is converted. Previews appear as they finish.
- Download single pages, or press Download all.
Why convert a PDF to JPG?
Images are easier to share than PDFs in chat apps and social media, they preview instantly on any phone, and many upload forms accept only image files. Converting a PDF to JPG is also handy for putting a page of a document into a presentation or a design.
What you get
Each page becomes a separate JPG named after your file, for example report-page-1.jpg, report-page-2.jpg. Pages keep their original proportions. Transparent areas become white so the images look the same as the printed PDF.
Tip for small file sizes
If an upload form needs a small image, convert at Normal quality, then use the Image Resizer in KB to bring the page under the exact limit.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The pages are drawn by your browser using the open-source pdf.js library, so the file stays on your device.
Which quality should I choose?
Normal (about 108 dpi) is fine for WhatsApp, email and websites. High (144 dpi) and Very high (216 dpi) are better for printing or zooming into small text.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
Not at the moment. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then convert it.
How do I turn the images back into a PDF?
Use our JPG to PDF converter. You can reorder the pages before creating the PDF.
